What I Am Up To.

Hi! My name is aimeeann and I am a young author. If you're coming over from my Tumblr blog -faithliesin-me.us - then you probably know a bit about me. But for those who don't, here's what you need to know: I'm 22, but I've already been through hell and back. I'm chronically ill, and can't do much during the day, so art has become my forte. I still live with my parents, and we have six cats (but, really, they're all mine). I love music as much as I love writing, though I can't play worth a lick. And my favorite color will forever and always be pink!

Now that you know a bit about me, I want to tell you about what I'm working on.
The last time I counted my original story projects, it was thirteen, but I've added a couple more, and they're all going to be novel sized. And, frankly, I can't keep count. But my main novel project is A Winged Dreamer. It's already been finished, and finished, and finished, and finished, but I'm putting some finishing touches on it yet again. And once it's finally FINISHED I'm going to try to find an agent for it.
A Winged Dreamer is a stand-alone novel about a group of elemental teenagers trying to figure out why their best friend is losing her bravery. But it will feature a follow-up series that goes more in-depth into the protagonists life, that I'm really excited to finish.
Other than those four books, I bounce back and forth working on my other books whenever I'm inspired to write them.
I'm also writing two fanfictions. (Well, TRYING to write them.) One is a surprise for one of my friends, so I shall not delve into that anymore. But the other one is something I want to try to publish on Kindle Worlds.
I'm working on a plethora of journals. I probably won't even be able to remember all of them to tell you about. Let's see. I'm writing a diary in French. I'm working on my therapy journals (blech). I have a planner for the protagonist of A Winged Dreamer. I have diaries for two separate characters in A Winged Dreamer (one I just got from Etsy, and I'm sooo excited for it). I have a Leo (starsign) scrapbook on a legal pad, and a couple of journal scrapbooks of letters and messages from friends. Andddd then I have a few specific journals for outlines. Maybe that's all of them?
I'm working on some other crafts too. I'm trying to practice my drawing, mostly by making fan pictures of celebrities. I'm really into photography, though I regrettably don't get to put that into practice much. And my newest craft hobby is making jewelry bookmarks. You know, the ones that are ribbon like and have decorative beads on the ends? Eventually I'm going to open up an Etsy shop of those.
And onto what I'm reading, because I read almost as much as I write. It's only the third month of the year, but I've already read 13 books for 2015. The first book was Abigail Haas' Dangerous Boys (freaking good, by the way), and all the rest of them have been by J.L Smith. I'm getting really into the whole Vampire thing. After I finish VD, I'm going to read the follow-up to Vampire Academy, and I'm thinking THINKING about reading Twilight. We'll see. But I'm also getting into wanting to write a vampire story myself.
There isn't much else I've been doing lately. It's hard to do a lot, when some days I'm too sick to even get out of bed. But I'm trying. And, of course, I'm spending a lot of my free time dreaming about being One Direction's best friend and maybe even Ashtonirwinsgirlfriend.
